The Pioneer Museum will be hosting a book signing for Calm Amidst Crisis: The Life of Hubert Scripps “Beale” Dixon on Saturday, February 22nd from 10:30am-3:30pm 

Copies will be available for sale and the authors, the book subjects’ children, will be present to discuss the book and their father’s life. Mr. Dixon, best known locally as the general manager of the Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) from 1951-1975, led a colorful life. The book explores his upbringing, career, and later years, one the authors describe as “a life of service, a life of courage, and a life well-lived.”Museum admission will be waived the day of the event for the occasion, and light refreshments will be available.
